Enfoque STEAM: congreso en línea con estudiantes del grado de educación primaria

Resumen


Entre las competencias a desarrollar por el futuro maestro de Educación Primaria se encuentran las competencias científicas. Un enfoque STEAM ayuda a desarrollar este tipo de habilidades. En consonancia, los congresos de ciencias permiten el aprendizaje significativo de contenidos didácticos y científicos, incrementan la motivación y una actitud positiva hacia las ciencias. Por ello, 119 docentes en formación participaron colaborativamente en un Congreso de Didáctica de las Ciencias Experimentales en línea. Investigaron sobre preconceptos erróneos científicos presentes en infantes de primaria, grabaron un experimento para crear un conflicto cognitivo y recogieron toda la información en posters, compartiéndolos en un espacio digital. El desarrollo de competencias científicas fueron medidos mediante una adaptación del cuestionario de Coronado y Arteta (2015). Un alto porcentaje de alumnos señaló su satisfacción tras la realización del congreso, afirmando haber adquirido habilidades necesarias para ejercer su papel de facilitador del aprendizaje, al aunar teoría y práctica.
