¿Qué cielo tenemos hoy? Machine Learning para identificar nubes en Educación Primaria
Resumen
Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar las percepciones y evidencias de aprendizaje que emergen al introducir actividades educativas basadas en el aprendizaje automático (Machine Learning, ML) en Educación Primaria, orientadas al desarrollo del pensamiento computacional (PC) y la alfabetización digital. Para ello, se diseñó e implementó una propuesta didáctica en la que los estudiantes entrenaron modelos para clasificar imágenes de nubes y desarrollaron aplicaciones en Scratch. Participaron 82 estudiantes de 4º y 6º de Primaria de un centro educativo en Bogotá (Colombia). La investigación adoptó un enfoque metodológico mixto, combinando instrumentos cualitativos y cuantitativos. Se realizó además una prueba de McNemar para analizar la adquisición de conocimientos. Los resultados evidencian mejoras significativas en la comprensión del funcionamiento del ML, el reconocimiento de tipos de nubes y el desarrollo de habilidades de PC. En conjunto, el estudio confirma la viabilidad pedagógica del ML como herramienta para promover aprendizajes significativos e interdisciplinarios.
