Resumen / Abstract
This research explored the mediating role of Integration in the relationship between specific features of a learning management system and academic satisfaction among university students. This study adopted a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional design involving 384 psychology students from a private university in Peru. Data were collected using a designed questionnaire that assessed eight key variables: Academic Satisfaction, Communication and Collaboration, Ease of Use and Navigation, Efficiency, Evaluation and Feedback Tools, Integration, Personalization, and Usability. Path coefficients and PLS-SEM analysis revealed that Personalization, Usability, and Efficiency significantly influenced Academic Satisfaction, mediated by Integration, highlighting the critical role of effectively integrating system functionalities. In contrast, Ease of Use and Navigation and Evaluation and Feedback Tools did not significantly impact Academic Satisfaction through Integration, suggesting the need for adjustments in these system features. The study underscores the importance of strategic Integration of educational technologies to enhance student satisfaction and suggests further research into optimizing these integrations to improve educational outcomes.
