La imagen de los destinos turísticos desde un punto de vista holístico versus atributos a través de las Redes Sociales

Resumen


Este trabajo aborda el estudio de la imagen del destino mediante los comentarios de los turistas en las redes sociales. Para ello se han seleccionado dos redes que aportan distintos tipos de información sobre el destino. Una asigna una puntuación numérica sobre diferentes atributos del destino, y de la otra se extraen comentarios holísticos de ellos. El propósito de este trabajo es aportar nuevas formas de aprovechar las posibilidades de las redes sociales como fuente de datos para el estudio de la imagen. Los resultados resaltan la potencialidad de las redes sociales como una interesante fuente de información por su veracidad, espontaneidad y abundancia de datos. No obstante, la naturaleza de los datos determina el tipo de análisis posible y la metodología a utilizar. Igualmente, se comprueba que la imagen obtenida es diferente según la red analizada, viniendo estas a complementarse entre ellas e, incluso, en algunos aspectos a contradecirse.
